NP King – Polychem Group is a regional distributor of engineering tools and equipment. This original design of this website was done by another company in Hong Kong and we adapted it for the Malaysia office. Some of the layouts were changed slightly and flash elements removed to make it more user friendly.

PJ State is a Chinese Church located in PJ Newtown. It had a website which was done by an earlier web designer and the Church was happy with the existing design. Our job here was to do coding enhancements and integrate a WordPress blog system which would serve as a platform for discussion among the various cell groups. SMAC is an international manufacturer of moving coil actuators for a number of industries. This is a website for its Malaysian subsidiary. The company’s original brief was to follow the design of the parent website, however after some experimenting, we decided to come out with a fresh and more unique look. This is a simple website for The Rich Advisors Sdn Bhd, a firm which provides financial advice and tax planning services to high net worth clients in Kuala Lumpur.

The website functions mainly as an online corporate brochure to showcase our client’s services and strengths. You can visit the site at www.richadvisors.com

Revival Centre is a church located in Ampang, called of God to be a worshipping, discipling, ministering and evangelising community reaching Kuala Lumpur and beyond.

We have kept the design simple in this project, focusing on customizing the WordPress system to provide a cost-effective content management solution for the church.

This is a new website for Sriera Development Sdn Bhd, an up-and-coming property developer in the Klang Valley.

As with several other property websites which we worked on previously, there was a shortage of high quality photographs for the website. So we combined some of the artist impressions with a little professional photography to produce the end product.

Due to time constraints, the English website was launched first while the Chinese site is still work-in-progress as we write this.

Congratulations to Linguistic Council on the launch of their new look website today.

Linguistic Council is the premier provider of training programmes which support children with Dyslexia, Autism and Dyspraxia. It specializes in equipping parents, teachers and caregivers with the practical skills needed to support such children with special needs.

We were requested to come up with a fresh new look which projects the “feel of an education institution”. Since Linguistic Council operates in both Singapore and Malaysia, the website was also mirrored to provide localized content for each target market. Visit Linguistic Council Website

Most of us know what Alexa Ranking is. However a somewhat more mysterious concept is Technorati Authority and Technorati Ranking.

Basically Technorati is one of the web’s leading portals for finding blogs and blog articles. Technorati has its own method of ranking blogs and the two important concepts are:

1. Technorati Authority

Higher is Better

Technorati Authority is the number of blogs which link to your blog in the last 6 months. Therefore the higher the number of incoming links, the better it is for you.

Note that Technorati measures the number of blogs rather than the number of links. If a blog links to you many times it still counts as 1 vote. But a new link (even from the same blog) means that the vote will last another 180 days.

Another indicator, the Technorati Top 100 shows the most popular 100 blogs based on Technorati Authority. The No 1 blog is the one with the most other distinct blogs linking to it in the last 6 months.

2. Technorati Ranking

Lower is Better

Technorati Rank is calculated based on how far you are from the top. The blog with the hightest Technorati Authority becomes the No. 1 ranking blog. So the lower your Technorati Rank, the closer you are to the top.

So what is the No 1 blog in terms of Technorati Authority?

Well as at the date of writing, it is American Internet newspaper Huffington Post (which currently has Alexa Ranking of 568 and Google PR 7). Renowned “problogger” Darren Rowse stands at a respectable No 23 with a Technorati Authority score of 7,784 compared with Huffington Post’s score of 26,553.

So there you go… Technorati rankings explained in a nutshell.

Bigwheel OTR specializes in tyre re-treading for Off-the-Road or OTR tyres. It is a subsidiary of Goodway Integrated Industries Berhad, a listed company involved in the development and manufacturing of rubber and re-treading compounds.

This is a corporate website which was designed to provide a convincing case on our client’s core capabilities and on tyre re-treading for earthmovers and mining trucks, in line with our client’s slogan “Let’s Green the Mines”. The project involved tight datelines in order to meet the client’s exhibition launching activities.
