No it’s not a mansion… nor a Ferrari.
It’s not even Hard Cash!
Leading US Internet Marketer Mike Filsaime launched his “7 Figure Business Workshop” at the end of 2006. Most of us here in Malaysia would not have had the privilege to attend, but would do well just to read and reflect on his sales letter page. In this page, Mike states that success is not based on systems alone but on a combination of factors which include:
1. Vision – without vision, you will not recognize where you should be heading and so will not arrive there.
2. Focus – laser-like concentration and focus on your area of interest.
3. Decisiveness – Unsuccessful people are usually indecisive in nature, making decisions slowly and change them often. On the other hand successful people make decisions quickly and change them slowly.
4. Specialized Knowledge – People great at one thing are the millionaires among us.
5. Action Plan – A tested and proven system that works regardless of the number of people using it.
6. The Right Tools – This one is pretty obvious.
7. Business Plan – You are in business for the long term. Have the right structure in place to scale your business as it grows. Many people have no understanding of how to run a business and end up creating a business that consumes them rather than one that frees them.
8. Accountability – When you understand the need for this, you will make it through projects at light-speed and hit deadlines with precision.
9. A Master Mind – Every successful person has the right people to help him or her. With your ego checked at the door, working with the right people can mean the difference of mediocre results or explosive success. Your network of people will determine the level of your success.
10. A Mentor – Successful sports people like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods each have a coach. Being the best you can be requires someone that has the ability to truly bring out the best in you. Identify and align yourself with a mentor who has been there before and you can accelerate your goals by quickly learning from their success… rather than your own failures.
