By the 9th day of Chinese New Year most Chinese businesses would have reopened for business.

This year my CNY holidays were spent in KL. For a change, the KL scene was serene (there was no haze!) and traffic was wonderfully quiet.

Not even a single sound of a fire cracker did I hear!

CNY is more than just Ang Pows and Mandarins.

It was a good time of reflection for me. An email from a friend got me thinking….

    THE FOUR BLESSED LOOKS
    Look back and thank God.
    Look forward and trust God.
    Look around and serve God.
    Look within and find God!”

“I asked God, ‘How do I get the best out of life?’
God said, ‘Face your past without regrets. Handle your present with confidence. And prepare for the future without fear!’”

“Without God, our week is: Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, Shatterday and Sinday.
So, allow Him to be with you every day!”

“Life is short, so forgive quickly.
    Believe slowly.
    Love truly.
    Laugh uncontrollably.
Never regret anything that makes you happy.
    And have a wonderful journey!”

Truly I have much to be thankful for.

As you will appreciate, we web designers and developers rely largely on project work to survive.

Over the last 6 or 7 years, there has never been any shortage of work for us to do.

Our client base has grown substantially (around 350 at last count) and the floodgates of heaven have always opened for us at the right time.

Four may not be a “lucky” Chinese number, but I know I have enjoyed many blessings this CNY 2008!
