Your Email Sending Problem Demystified - TM Net is Blocking Port 25

Recently many of our web and email hosting clients have complained that they were unable to send emails although they were receiving fine.
This occured when clients were:
- connecting to the Internet using TM net / Streamyx
- using MS Outlook or Outlook Express as their email client
The reason for this is that since December 2007, TM has been starting to block Port 25 which is the default SMTP port.
Therefore to fix the problem, all you need to do is change your settings slightly in your MS Outlook or Outlook Express. Please refer to our announcement here.
