It gives you greater market reach and is like having a 24 hour telephone line combined with a company sales brochure that can be updated quickly. A good website also provides you with a positive image when dealing with suppliers and business partners. Other reasons for having a website include earning an online income, whether via ecommerce or through website monetization programs such as Google Adsense, Affiliate Marketing and so on. HOW MUCH WILL MY PROJECT COST? At Netallianz, our packages start at RM1,500 for a basic 6-page website package, inclusive of web hosting and search engine submission. Yes, we will need to understand about your company, your products and services, your unique selling proposition and other details. WHAT IS THE PROCESS INVOLVED Basically you first need to work out your requirements - how many web pages you need, what sort of features (eg member login, dynamic product gallery, news display & archive etc). WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ONE (1) WEB PAGE? HOW MUCH CONTENT CAN BE PUT INTO A WEB PAGE? One web page typically equates to one-third (1/3) to half (1/2 )of an A4 page. Take a look at Metro Limousine for example. Each of those links on the top menu (Home, About Us, Services, Rates, Contact Us) contains 1 web page, while Services and Contact Us contain sub-pages which are counted as additional pages. If in the inside page it links to another page in the same website, it is considered an extra page. If it links to another website outside of your own, then it is not considered an extra page. DO YOU PROVIDE FREE PHOTOS FOR MY WEBSITE? Generally Yes, but you need to let us know what you have in mind. It may or may not be available. Also certain images which you ask for specifically may involve additional cost as we may have to secure these photos from paid image banks. HOW LONG DO YOU TAKE TO DO A WEBSITE? Websites such as Geocities provide you with free web space and templated designs although there are limitations on customizability and features. You need to assess your requirements and objectives before deciding to go with free web design. I AM NOT LOCATED IN MALAYSIA. CAN WE STILL DO BUSINESS? Generally Yes. Tools such as e-mail, fax, telephone, discussion boards and live chat enable us to do business with almost anyone, anytime, anywhere. I HAVE AN ENGLISH WEBSITE AND WISH TO MIRROR MY WEBSITE IN OTHER LANGUAGES SUCH AS CHINESE, GERMAN, JAPANESE AND ARABIC. HOW MUCH WOULD THIS COST? To design a multilingual version of your website, we are effectively building another website save for the design, as there is no short cut to "convert" from one language to another. This means we have to go into each page and insert content for every page. In the case of certain languages such as Japanese, Arabic and Thai, there would also be additional work because of the special characters involved. For example, we rely on software to type in text and from our experience, there could be bugs because of the way special characters are displayed in a browser. Sometimes the software creates inconsistent spacing in between text and we would have to do trouble shooting to perfect the result. Sometimes superscripts and subscripts run all over the place. Rest assured, we guarantee client satisfaction and will make sure you are happy with the result. The cost would depend on the language involved and what needs to be done exactly (eg sometimes graphic buttons involve more work that text links). |
